"First A Spark" is a poem written by Rabbi Sandy Eisenberg Sasso, well-known children's author ("God's Paintbrush" among others). It was written for her daughter's bat mitzvah and makes a wonderful bat mitzvah gift.

Artist Biography:
Suzy Friedman creates distinct special occasion art using Judaic themes. Each piece reflects Suzy's love of Judaism and its traditions.
For over 25 years Suzy has been using her artistic talent in media as diverse as mosaics, hand-dyed and painted silk, atarot for talitot and torah covers, cards and invitations, and hand-painted and calligraphed ketubot. Her latest interest is in creating three-dimensional giclee ketubot and other Judaic themed prints.
